AT&Tís latest announcement came yesterday, January 25th, 2005. They are cutting 1,700 jobs and closing four customer service centers. This is a clear sign that AT&T doesn'tít care about their customers or their employees.
The following are the centers closing Mesa, AZ, Syracuse, NY, Marietta, Ga, and Town and Country, MO. AT&T is closing centers they say because call volumes are dropping, but in the meantime, they are sending jobs overseas.
They are also cutting more than 200 technician jobs.
